this band played at the brewery before i believe.

Quote :
"Bayside drummer John "Beatz" Holohan, 31, was killed in what was apparently a one-vehicle accident early October 31 while traveling on the Never Sleep Again tour with Victory Records labelmates Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, and Aiden.
The tour had just finished an October 30 gig at Colorado's Boulder Theatre and was on its way to Magna, Utah's Great Salt Air for a Halloween show.
Bayside was driving through Cheyenne, Wyo., when its van skidded and flipped after hitting a patch of ice.
Bass player Nick Ghanbarian was seriously injured and remained hospitalized, as were some crew members, at press time. Bayside members Anthony Raneri and Jack O'Shea had been discharged from the hospital. The Never Sleep Again concerts scheduled for October 31 in Salt Lake City and November 1 in Boise, Idaho, have been canceled. The shows in Seattle and Portland may also be canceled or postponed.
The tour runs through December but it isn't known if Bayside will participate.

that's so depressing. i can't imagine what its like for the rest of the guys on tour.

reminds of when cliff burton of metallica died in a bus accident in germany while the guys were on tour.

i believe the junior varsity and bayside were pretty close friends...a TJV member's girlfriend was kidnapped a little while ago and they had found a body in mississippi (i believe) that turned out to be her's...rough times for the victory camp

yea, im sure you are so saddened over the 1000s of people that die in this world everyday. you must cry everytime a murderer is sentenced to death, or when hitler died. god. those poor people.

not really... when you start making individual threads about every person that dies, you will have an argument... but this thread was made because the guy was in a band... if blasphemour wants to ridicule the fact that the guy was in a band that he thinks sucks, he has every right to...

plus, most people really have no grasp as to what makes a human life valuable... all these people think that everyone matter when really, they don't...

its one thing to not feel any emotion for the death of someone you have never met, but its another thing to show complete disrespect for the person though

I wouldn't have respected him when he was alive, why should I change my attitude just because he got tin-canned?

i cant respect anyone who isnt capable of respecting other people's lives. there's just so many people in this world that the garbage does find a way to accumulate.

" I'm laying here in the hospital, awaiting my surgery tomorrow. To clear up any questions, I broke my back ( L4 vertebrae ). I'm very lucky to not be paralyzed. I was thrown through the window of our rolling van, after hitting a patch of ice. I have a full torso cast on, keeping my back straight. I just started eating again so now I can take some percoset which helps with my intense back pain. All in all, Ill be ok and the minute I can have a bass in my hand and be playing in front of people again I will. It's all I know how to do and the only thing that makes me happy."
