I can't believe that we haven't had at least 3 people say "The Daily Show" yet.

http://www.guardian.co.uk
http://www.newsandobserver.com - for local stuff
occasionally http://www.indymedia.org , their regular news stories can be pretty biased, but its b/c their pandering to their audience. still, they cover stuff you won't read about anywhere else.
oh, and I guess TDS

I avoid all other TV news like the plague

Primarily these...

1. http://www.prisonplanet.com/
2. http://www.infowars.com/
3. http://www.rense.com/
4. http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/

All of the above websites scan "mainstream" sources and gather the most important stories, and then post links to those stories on thier sites on a daily basis. Alex Jones' sites (1 & 2) consist of approximately 80% mainstream news articles, with the remaining consisting of original articles and articles by other non-mainstream authors.

Does whatreallyhappened scan all the conspiracy theory blogs from geocities and myspace entries? That's certainly where you get your news.
