So..i'm thinkin bout keepin it simple with some assorted jellys and preservatives..what goes well with these? Crackers? Cheese? I need somethin else to add to this basket. Any suggestions?
I got Apricot Preserves, Strawberry preserves, and Honey Sweet Apple Butter....all made by local Raleigh Farmers. 12/11/2005 11:25:06 AM |

Look at a Hickory Farms gift basket for more ideas. If they celebrate Christmas consider an NC lighthouse ornament. 12/11/2005 11:36:24 AM |

wtf
use some thought into what they enjoy
if the dad has a humidor, go to the tender boz and pick something out, etc etc
gift baskets are easy outs
but the local stuff would be cool for the mom. The dad would be like "wtf"

I couldn't take myself seriously to give them preserves. It's kind of a grandma thing to do.

not having a pregnant, unmarried daughter should be enough of a gift for any parent
if they want more than that, then they are asking too much 12/11/2005 12:35:27 PM |

Get them a gift certificate for them to go out to eat...I got my bf's parents that for Christmas my first Christmas, and second Christmas, and maybe even this third one coming up! But, seriously-they like to go out to eat and someone else pay for it. 12/11/2005 1:22:08 PM |

Good homemade or bakery fresh bread would be nice too. Just make sure you add it to the basket right before you give it to them 12/11/2005 4:03:53 PM |
