Sorry for the double post (http://www.thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=375170), but since I haven't gotten any reply's, I thought I'd hit a wider audience.

My company is going to pay for the use, as long as i buy the nextel phone. The current one I have is absolute crap. We're talking the type of phone which is in your way whether it's in your pocket, your side clipped etc. Its 4 inches tall to give you an idea.

I'm looking at flip phones, definitely need a screen that lets me know who's calling and can be answered closed as long it's a talkie message (whatever you call it). If any of you have one that you like, could you tell me the model #? Thanks!

get the i730...
they are relatively cheap now that the newer fancier models are out..
but it is all you need
flip phone, screen on the outside even if it isn't opened... small, lightweight

i870 if you want to be baller, 1.3mp cam, transflash/microSD slot, mp3 player, video recorder, "quick flip" button

if your trying to be economical i760. has text messaging, external CID, small size.

i730 has widely known reception problems. This was supposedly fixed by modifying the way the antenna was grounded to the boards in the newer ones but people still complain about them.

Basically the signal strength fluctuates more than normal causing your direct connect calls to sound like you are talking to R2D2 being ground up in a blender. Cellular calls will just drop or cut out so bad you cant hear.

If you are thinking about an i730 might as well get one used because they are dirt cheap online now. Its a very durable and economical phone but since you are probably buying a phone to talk on not just beat around I would look at one of the newer models.
