I was skimming through the news tonight and saw an article on NY Daily's site about President Obama and a remark he made in 2008 while campaigning during a private donor event.

The most outrageous executive order of all time was that issued by President Roosevelt that allowed the enforced internment of 120,000 Japanese-Americans.

At this point I wonder if they even care about context or if it's deliberate deception. Lines like "Don't you know gas prices were $1.87 when Obama took office" and "Dontcha know the 2007 debt was only $161 billion, and now it's over a trillion!" regularly get dropped by conservatives all over the place, and Romney himself dropped the first one. The "You didn't build that" byte was practically a campaign theme for Romney for months.
