Basically this is last year's finals again. LeBron and a bunch of hot garbage. GSWs bench is playing incredible.

Good lord. The Cavs actually did their defense job of containing curry and Thompson. Unfortunately the bench is deeper than Amazon pussy

the cavs could still win game 2 and be in complete control of the series. you could look at this a lot of different ways.

Cavs are likely going to have to win two in Oakland.

I understand that the Cavs strategy is to rough up curry and Green but you need to reach game 6 and 7 for that to have any net benefits. I doubt gsw get this same bench production but also doubt the splash bros will play so poorly. Really thought that for the Cavs to win this series, they'd have to take game 1. I'm excited to see what the Cavs come up with to counter iggy + Livingston.

I've got nothing to say. That looked really, really bad.

They need to decrease Irving and love shots and minutes big time. Play frye more.

Horrible job on Livingston that was unbelievable. Barbosa 5-5?! He wasn't shooting like that in phoenix a decade ago.

Cleveland went iso way too much. Irving just refuses to pass. That was a nightmare.

Curry is back to his choking nba finals ways. They really need to be able to win before he finds his shot.

This thing will be over in 5 if cleveland doesnt do almost everything different starting tomorrow. That was really ugly.

Still they were ahead in the 3rd before gsw bench just crushed them

GSW bench won that one like they won Game 5 in the OKC series.

I wouldn't be too worried if I was a Cavs fan. Irving was hot garbage and Love wasn't much better. Lebron was okay. Obviously coming in you knew that they would both have to play well for them to win, and they didn't. You can be encouraged that they played great defense against GSW's starters...but you just can't go through the motions with the bench (well, it didn't matter with Livingston...dude was on fire...Barbosa hit mostly open shots).

People forget that Livingston was one of the top players coming out of high school when he jumped to the league. With his size, he was looked at as Magic Johnson type point guard. Those knee injuries fucked him up, but they also kept about 5 years of wear and tear from the rest of his body. He's still got crazy skills with less miles on him. Dude could easily be this year's Igoudala if Curry continues to wither in the spotlight.

Eh...Warriors bench had 43 points while Cleveland's bench had 10. Cleveland had a one point lead in the third, GSW got up a couple...then their bench took over. I don't think a win at home when the game was a toss-up in the third is a series ender.

GSW have way more power than CLE. They are probably 150-200% stronger than CLE. Lebron and his buddies are perhaps the only group in the league who dare to challenge them. I won't say it's like Bulls VS Jazz 20 yrs ago because Lebron is not Malone, he's more like Jordan, but I think the result makes no difference. GSW in 6 I guess.

It's a good thing the Cavs have such an awesome coach who can right the ship and bring them back into this series. Otherwise they'd be pretty much screwed.

Lue looked like a fucking child that someone put in an oversized suit. Irving, JR, and most of the bench just sucked NC state style last night for the Cavs. Staggering amount of head shaking plays by Kyrie and JR.

yeah, so let's bring race into the discussion AGAIN since it was brought up earlier. Delly gets a pass because it was an accident, but Draymond is a thug because he's African dark. Or am I missing something?

They were very different plays. And if Draymond was such a thug, why didn't the league suspend him for a game?

The only person I've heard trying to give Delovadovavada a pass there was Mark Jackson who said he should get no foul and Iguodala should have gotten a tech for getting in his face.

And Mark Jackson is black.

No way Delladova intentionally went for his nuts. His arm was in motion when AI moves his right arm. If AI doesn't pull his arm out of the way, it is a common slap on the forearm. Fucking people cry about anything. Green on the other hand is habitual with his dirty tactics. Neither got suspended for their nut plays so let it go GSW fans. Lol too at bringing race into this. That is UNC lunatic comical.

Hope Cavs get game 2, I want to see another 7 game series.

don't forget dellys reputation for diving at peoples knees. He took two hawks out last year and will never live down his reputation. At least with green, he has a reputation of being a great player who sometimes does dirty shit. Delly's only purpose is to be dirty. No one respects him at all.

Delly is dirty as fuck and 90% of the time he's probably trying to do harm...but that was a run of the mill swipe-at-arm-ball play. Intentional in the fact that he knew he probably wasn't going to get any ball...but that definitely wasn't an intentional Bangkok.

I think the league try to push Draymond Green to be Dennis Rodman, so he HAS to play dirtily.

Again, the 16' GSW compared with 96' Bulls:

Curry--------------Jordan

Draymond Green----------Rodman

Andrew Bogut----------Longley

Klay Thompson-----------Pippen

Andre Iguodala----------Harper

Anderson Varejao-----------Toni Kukoc

Shaun Livingston-----------Steve Kerr

Livingston-----------Jud Buechler

Leandro Barbosa---------------Jason Caffey

Marreese Speights--------------Bill Wennington

Festus Ezeli-----------------------Robert Parish

Harrison Barnes------------Randy Brown

You could make the exact same argument about Delly.

The narrative I've been hearing is that Delly is scrappy and gritty and goes after every loose ball, while Draymond is emotional and reckless and plays like a thug.

I see a lot of similarities between both nut crushing incidents and I'm just wondering how people can automatically assume DG's kick was intentional while Delly's was purely accidental. There's no real way of proving intent, so I have to wonder where this bias is coming from, especially considering Delly's antics over the past two playoffs.

Would I rather be kicked in the nuts or punched in the nuts? I mean I guess I'll take the punch, but both are going to fucking suck.

Draymond IS reckless....he just drove into the paint right at an injured player lying in the ground.

Honestly, that could have ended horribly

Warriors playing outstanding D tonight. Cleveland forced 6 TOs in the 1st Q and only led by 2 due to GSW shutting down their O. Cleveland just cannot get any open looks.
