Quote : | "Papelbon, who has a weekly segment on a Boston-area sports talk show, said Wednesday that the Red Sox are not finished paying back the Rays. And while he also credited Tampa Bay for the way it has stayed in the AL East race, he also didn't mince words about what the Rays can expect when the two teams meet again for a three-game series in St. Petersburg, Fla., beginning June 30.
"In my opinion, it is a bunch of bull what they did," Papelbon said on "Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight" on Comcast Sportsnet, referring to last week's brawl between the two teams. "All I got to say is what comes around goes around, man. Payback's a b----, I'll tell you what."" |
LOL. Let me make myself very clear:
I hope I never see Papelbon out in public anywhere. I wouldn't be the first person to want to kick his fuckin' ass...10/20/2008 3:59:22 AM |

waaaaaahhhhhhhhh
go read the SI article where Rays players said they started shit with the sox because they weren't as good as them
then go fuck yourself (before or after you realize you've already become what you despise about sox fans)

But they are better than them...as it turns out. Sorry your chowdered, hemp-necklace wearing, C-patch on a baseball uniform-wearing, white-bred troupe of faggots who everybody despises except their boyfriends lost the series, goalielax. 10/20/2008 4:35:48 PM |

Well, it was a good run. Losing a game 7 sucks, but certainly beats going out with a whimper by getting blown out in 3 straight games at your own park. It was a great series, but in the end the better team won. (which isn't what happened in the ALDS, if you ask the Angels players ) Looking forward to next year, especially if Ortiz, Beckett and Lowell can get back to their old form. Re-signing Tek is obviously a priority, and he can only get better offensively next year. There's no way he has another year like he did this year.
And attn Wakefield and Timlin: plz retire

^Yeah you are right, an aging old catcher who was never a great hitter. I know he is the captain, blah blah blah, and calls the games and stuff, but it is time to find a replacement. 10/20/2008 5:21:05 PM |
