It goes both ways. Feels like we could be up more (Colorado state missing 3s and poor shooting). But we also were 2/10 on 3 at half, more turnovers than CSU, and have foul trouble. So we could be up more. Or are lucky to be up at all because outside of Funderburk we didn’t play well.

The freshmen were obviously terrible all day and couldn't consistently feed the post but I'm not sure why Keatts didn't let dj go point forward and play two man with Bates

DJ started the game with 11 in the first 10 minutes, finished the game with 13.

That's the story of his career. Incredibly talented dude that could never consistently produce.

Against a team like this without any good guards to exploit us, BB would have been great to have when our freshmen couldn't/wouldn't feed the ball inside.

Hellems was 6-16, Cam was 2-13, Seabron had 2 points and turnovers, Moore was 3-10 and had 5 turnovers. Our freshman guards were pretty bad and Hellems didn’t help us out much. I think Moore might have the most promise of the 3 guards but his three turnovers in a row and then cheap foul with about 10 minutes left was too much to overcome.

hard to blame funderburk for not scoring more. foul trouble and inability to complete a simple entry pass was back breaking.

BB would've definitely helped. he's solid at feeding the post and hopefully could've knocked down some 3s.

freshmen were pretty terrible. not feeling super optimistic about next year. i'm sure there will be a transfer or two, and i'm sure we'll bring in a transfer or two...so who even knows what the roster will look like. i'd love to see us add a wing that can shoot.

^^I've rarely blamed DJ for his lack of production. It's both a system thing that hasn't prioritized getting the ball inside at times and a guard issue. For some reason, our guards just cannot complete an entry pass. It has also been a minutes thing at times.

I do think there has been an assertiveness issue at times in his career here, but it's unclear how much it is him and how much it has to do with the stuff I mentioned before that is outside his control.

I know I've hated on BB a lot, but I think we win with him. Like it's been said, he can make those entry passes. And I'm sure he hits ateast one triple. Some of Seabron's pass attempts were just atrocious.

I feel like Farrar is gone. I mean Max Farthing played over him. Dude was so hyped in high school last year. I know we've been in contact with several transfers including the guy at Hampton and the one at the Citadel.

Hard to be optimistic if Daniels and DJ are gone when they were our only reliable scorers night in and night out. I just don't see Pass, Ross, or Smith contributing a ton right away.

The issue is will Farrar, Gibson, Ebe become ACC players or take up a scholarship that could be used elsewhere.

^ Rumor floating around twitter that Shak Moore is gone as well. No idea about the source or anything and it may be complete bullshit like half the stuff that gets around ncstate twitter. I don't think his minutes matched his talent and I wish he would have been given more time to work through the turnover issues. He was one of the few truly assertive players we had on the roster. That would be absolutely devastating for next year's team IMO.

I'm not sure where the hype came from for Farrar. The kid is 30 pounds overweight and not tall enough to play the five against the ACC.

Gibson is much more likely to play minutes next year. He didn't look totally lost in the few minutes he had last night and earlier in the season.

Farrar feels like an odd fit anyways. He’s undersized to play the 4. And while KK has played small 4 position before with dorn and Hellems, Farrar doesn’t seem to fit that mold at all. He needs to lose about 40 lbs. His size just doesn’t strike me as what KK is going for...he doesn’t look like a guy that can run the court and guard ACC big men. But he’s barely played so I don’t really know what we can do.
