Is anyone else having trouble registering for a ticket the exhibition game this Friday night? I go in to claim my ticket and it says, "Ticket not Available for 8359 - STDNT:112:GA:205." I'm only requesting my student ticket and not a guest ticket. I checked my eligability and it says I'm eligible for Men's Basketball. What's the deal? Anyone else getting this problem?

i am astonished. most people never care about the pre-january games. im sure plenty of alumni will be out there selling their tickets though if i can't get a student ticket. this is ridiculous.

and i have it set to send me reminders when request periods start, and i didn't get anything. i don't think that is working for basketball or something.

I'm guessing a lot of people snatched up the maximum amount of guest tickets. I didn't get any notifications, either.

I'd like a ticket, too, if anyone is willing to part with theirs. I'm hoping some people will cancel by the deadline tomorrow so I can get my own.

When I got mine finally, it kept telling me there were none available, and then it said I had the max number of tickets, and when I went, sure enough, I had one. Don't know how, but it was there!

its strictly on demand for this game, so i would think that it wouldn't reserve it for you until you pay for it.

I think i heard somewhere that there were less student tickets available for these first few games for some reason.

^The SWPC will still have their assigned section behind the players and a few section in the endzones, but i would bet the rest of the student section are going to be GA. Now im talking about the rest of the season, for the exp. games, the SWPC did not give out tickets so all seats will be GA.

This is the stupidest god damn thing i have ever heard of. There were even student tickets at the gate 2 years ago when we were playing FUCKING DUKE and they had campout, SWPC, and voucher distribution, yet they still managed to find a way to have some extras.

If they dont have any at the game tonight, this just proves that the administration is trying to fuck us. This game WILL NOT be sold out.

last year we had 175 students show up to the first ex. game.

This year, we had over 1000 request a ticket, and once that was up we opened more........

so, w/ teh new system integrated w/ the whole arena software we were able to offer more tickets this year than last year (we didn't offer over 1000 for the first game last year)
