yeah, the stash is a good gold sink. the staff of herding is too. it costs 150k to make, 200k to upgrade to nm, 500k for hell, and 1mil for inferno. i suspect they will create more gold sinks like this. blizz has said several times that a stable economy is important to them.

with shit going for millions on the AH already, there really isnt a legitimate gold sink in this game.

Stash can be done in a matter of a few hours farming; same with the staff for most difficulties.

Its going to get out of hand quick.

We did a virus scan, cleaned up disks, checked all settings. Only thing found was P2P associated with uTorrent. Fiance has been ordered to scan computer after each download sesssion now. The computer scan came clean when it scanned at six pm yesterday, my scan at 11 after the hack showed 22 P2P instances

Nephalem Valor (sp?) is the shit. Can definitely tell a difference when it's active vs when it's not.

wirt's bell in act 2- 100k gold from a merchant in the bazaar
gibbering gemstone in act 3 - caves of frost
staff of herding plans in act 4 - dropped by izaul

i've got everything but the rainbow and gemstone... hope to get them tonight then free rides to whimyshire?

I havent played far enough to really know but would have been cool if they only let you use one of the "professions" and made it like where gems didnt drop they had to be crafted thats how you actually keep an economy going. If shit drops that you can make then why would anyone bother making them?

SO I got a reply about restoring stuff that got stolen when I was hacked. apparently they can restore it somewhat, but if your account gets hacked more than once you will have all access to the auction house revoked. I'm not going to have them restore it, in the grand scheme of things 15k is piddly, but I was annoyed last night when I asked them to restore it.
