because your coach is a douche nozzle. i've never liked the guy and his incessant whining really annoys the shit out of me. especially when other coaches know how to suck it up and keep their mouth shut.

he can whine all he wants, he sits on the top of the nhl...now maybe if you team can hold off nashville, the two top teams in the nhl can to the stanley cup....it would make for some interesting trash talking between us at least...

Zednik to the Isles for a 2nd

B. Boucher, Berard, Leighton, Hamel, Krog, N. Kapanen, M. Chouinard, Downey, Cajanek all on waivers

Supposedly Smolinski to Vancouver for a 2nd is almost done

And supposedly Gary Roberts to Pittsburgh is complete pending whether Roberts will waive his no trade clause.

Wallin signed a 4 year deal in the offseason. I seriously doubt he'll be going anywhere.

The Buffalo Sabres have finally parted ways with netminder Martin Biron, trading him to the Philadelphia Flyers for an undisclosed draft pick and acquired netminder Ty Conklin from the Columbus Blue Jackets.

mshaul's super awesome backup goalie has been traded to Philly in a three-way deal with Columbus.

For such a great guy, you'd think the upgrade would've been someone better than TY CONKLIN.

Trading Wallin would be the worst possible move for the canes. After Wesley departs due to retirement, he will be by far our best defensive defenseman/ penalty killer

Oleg Saprykin and a late rounder to Ottawa for a second round pick.

And Ward's been confirmed as traded for Paul Mara.

Brad May to the Ducks for G Michael Wall (who played against the Canes)

Bertuzzi to the Wings for an undisclosed package that's apparently a conditional pick and a prospect...

Yanic Perrault to the Leafs for Brendan Bell

Zubrus to the Sabres for Novotny and a first

Pascal Dupuis to Atlanta

the amazing, moving Zubrus. I can't believe the Wings want Bert on their team.

So for FLA, Luongo became a conditional pick. Good job Keenan!!

all the 'canes really have room for is a center, and most of the decent one's i'd actually like to see on the team were probably too expensive. if we were a lock for a number 2 or 3 seed like 05-06, it'd make sense to spend, but this season, nah.

I am kinda surprised there weren't more head turning trades. I guess most teams are pretty happy with where they are and have the cap staring them down. And why the hell did the Devils trade David Hale for a stupid pick?

Yay Anson Carter to the Canes. I just hope he fits in well and isn't just a rent-a-skater.

yeah i am completely shocked that the little bitch janssen would do that

his only role in the nhl is to deliver cheap shots

tie domi should come back just to stab him if we're going to allow stuff like this

Completely shocked?

It's a page right out of the old Scott Stevens playbook.

The Devils are all cheapshotting faggots.

yeah it was sarcasm

i hate scott stevens too, but at least he was respected and was a good hockey player

i hate cam janssen because there's no indication that he's even good at hockey, his skills are limited to ice skating and cheap shots

he's an ice skating dick

i seriously think that if you just took any recreational hockey player at the ice house or someplace and gave them permission to go dish out cheap shots, they could do as well as janssen

compounding this is that the devils just send in a useless player to injure the opponent's best defenseman. who wouldn't give up cam janssen for 3 games if it meant taking out kaberle or gonchar or campbell or someone like that?

according to yall thats just finishing a hit....drury didn't have the puck when neil hit him and knocked him out of the game, and you all are talking about how bad it was that ruff sent in a line to get back at the team, but having tie domi stab the guy thats ok....great logic

There's a big difference between a semi-late hit on a guy who's coming across the middle with his head down and a truly late hit on a guy who's circling his own zone.

^^ i think you are lumping everyone who argues with you together

i never said a thing about the hit on drury which was clearly a bitch move

i never said anything about ruff sending in the enforcers either, but regardless, i am not sure how you equate lindy ruff ACTUALLY sending in a fighting lineup and some guy on the internet joking about tie domi stabbing someone

im not grouping everyone, sorry if it came off that way....also the drury hit, he did has his head down but the hit cam from behind, the kaberle hit came from a guy he could see, even thought it was a way late, the drury hit came after the puck was way away from him, both hits were late, and they didn't get called, its a bunch of shit...
