it does look dumb, but not as stupid as purposely lighting a plant on fire and breathing the smoke

"Smath74, smoking real cigs is a nuisance and I am glad they haven't unbanned them. Litter, actual smoke, nasty smell. While they may not cause cancer if someone smokes next to me they do make my eyes and throat burn, as well as make me nauseated and give me a headache. I feel like it is slightly different from someone not liking the way something you are doing smells.

Was there anything in the study about second hand smoke and pregnant women/fetuses?"

I'm not sure... and don't take that statement to make it sound like i'm "for" second hand smoke... There are many more dangers to smoking than cancer, but the main push that anti-smoking activists used to get indoor smoking banned in so many places was the cancer risk.

(personally I hate the smell of cigarette smoke and enjoy being able to leave a bar without smelling like an ashtray.)

Lol if you schedule nicotine why not go after caffeine too? They're about as equally addictive and harmful.

"I enjoy e-cigs a couple times a week, but even I'm starting to get annoyed with people that keep these things in their face constantly. I know several people who are constantly puffing on these things. My husband is seriously chain smoking all day on this thing now, when he used to smoke around 10 cigs a day. When he got it, he claimed he was going to use it to wean himself off of nicotine, but from what I can tell, his addiction is stronger than ever. I think he increased the strength of his juice versus a year ago, when he started. "

That kinda happened to me. It was so convenient and tasty. For a while I was killing those things and went back to regulars / non e

It seemed like my addiction was way worse after a few months of these

Yeah that's me I'd smoke like 1 a day and occasionally a pack of menthol lights over the weekend or I'd go months where I smoked regularly. Then I found one of those pen style DSE 901s like 4 years ago. Now it's a gadget hobby for me and I just recently decided to step down to 12mg from 18. I've definitely upped my nicotine intake, but I just consider it an addiction like coffee. I don't smoke anymore except for a djarum or a cigar every now and again.

I ask bartenders what their stance is and I'd never do that shit in a restaurant.
