The 32 grams of protein from a LOMAD (on top of my regular intake) will double my current intake. So that means I am getting 32 already from my diet, and the 32 from milk will double my current intake of 32.

But actually I am getting around 35 to 45 daily, and that's why i said the 32 from milk will nearly double my current intake. I know that is low, and I used to get a lot more, probably 50 to 60, till July. But then had some drastic changes in my life around that time.

So now, with the LOMAD, I will be at around 60 to 70, and I will also increase my food intake, bringing the total to around 80, which is decent for a 140 pounder.

Thats not even close to what it should be if you are looking to put on mass as you say.

If I was to only eat 70 grams a day, I would lose all my muscle mass in a month.


If you are at 140 lbs. you need to eat about 160 grams of protein a day. That sounds ridiculous I know but you can EASILY double what you are consuming now by integrating 2 40g protein shakes in throughout the day say 10 am and 3 pm.

I'd switch this to non-dairy. Some people prefer dairy but the almond milk here: http://www.samsclub.com/sams/silk-pure-almond-original-almondmilk-3-64-oz/prod1960758.ip is WAY better for you and consitutes as a veggie fill in if you are low on your veggie intake.

If you want to put on mass...you need to eat every hour. Heavy on starches proteins and fats. probably 25-50-25 in terms of %.

Aim for 160 grams...IF you are lifting fairly hard. 70 grams is basically a meal and a half for me.

just as an example, this is what my 180 add mass diet looks like for the next 2 months.
keep in mind a serving is about the size of my fist for veggies, protein, etc...

Each Day consume:
7 starches, 3 legumes, 6 veggie, 6 fruit, 13 protein, 6 fats


now an individual starch is like one slice of bread. legume=beans...etc etc you get the point.

that is eating clean too...so its a LOT of food but it works. I put on about 15 lbs. of muscle last jan-march on this plan. after 2 months I switch it up and hit up less carbs, more protein and fats etc.

Almond milk is absolute garbage; there is no protein content to it, and it doesn't have the hormones in it that make milk so effective at building muscle. You might as well recommend sugar water with a multivitamin instead.

As a noob you really only need three things to pack on a lot of muscle fast.

1) resistance training. Less is more. Start with 2 sets of 10 reps on major muscle groups (chest, back, shoulders, legs) and 1 set of 10 on minor ones (biceps, triceps, calves) for a few week to prevent injuries. Within a few weeks you can progress to 3x8, 3x6, etc. 5x5 is way too taxing on a noob. The idea is to start with less taxing workouts so you can recover faster and work out more frequently early on.

2) protein. Eating 70g of protein is a joke. 1g/lb of bodyweight at a minimum. If you're lean you should be aiming for more like 1.5g/lb of bodyweight just to be safe.

3) sleep/recovery. You need to sleep and you need to take days off. Always work out full body so you have more rest days.

Don't be an idiot just do this stuff.

^^considering I am using it for my protein shakes, I dont care that it has no protein in it.

I dont like using diary in my protein shakes, its that simple and the Silk is a good replacement especially given that I get the unsweetened/

I was doing so damn good up until my exercise partner took vacation around July. Derailed at that point; turning into a fucking slob again. Past 2 years have been shit. I need to get moving again.

SO I guess I'll post some progress pics.

Here is me on July 4th, 5 days before I found out I was pregnant. I think I was like 2 or 3 weeks along and about 156 pounds.




October 20th, Week 18




And today, Week 23 and 4 days, 175 pounds



I've gained 19 pounds, which is about 5 too much according to the doctor, but I only gained 3 pounds from my visit 4 weeks ago which was an improvement. I can definitely see a bit of gain in my face and of course my belly, but all in all I don't think I'm doing too badly. December 23rd I get to find out if I've got gestational diabetes, and if I do they will put me on meds and a super strict diet. Oh boy!

Sorry about the potential diabetes thing. I've known quite a few people who've had that as a possible issue. You look great, and it sounds like you're doing awesome at pregnancy.

Thank you! I am at an increased risk because of my insulin resistance, but my fate isnt sealed. It is why I joined the thread. To try to ward it off with a healthy diet and exercise.

It's with great pleasure that I announce the return of RIP GIRLFRIEND.

After a temporary 6 month run with another human I am fully single again.

Last year I had to get unfat because frankly I was a fat piece of shit. This year I am fairly unfat and need to get much fucking larger because frankly I am a scrawny piece of shit.

I've had ~6 weeks to do what needed to be done which was bang random girls and go on crazed all night benders with sleep depriving appetite supressant stimulants and booze. I'm now back to focusing on working out and shutting out the temptation to go looking for girls every night.

So what was my motivation? Frankly, I haven't banged a really smoking hot girl in 2013. That's just not acceptable. I was on fire at the end of 2012 when I was still fat oddly enough, but getting unfat didn't yield the results I was looking for because I kept seeing the same girls over and over that my head convinced me I "liked" like a fucking yellow belly.

I grew a lot in 2013 though I think. One thing I noticed after limiting myself to the 18-23 year female pool most of my life is that girls in their late 20's while sometimes 5-15 lbs overweight are better fucks for the most part. I'm not sure if it comes with maturity or just from dating a girl who was terrible in bed once, but there's definitely something to be said for that. It's kinda like how most guys are boobs guys in high school/college but then convert to ass guys. It's a sign of maturity. Anyway, it's like Einstein said "Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death." Einstein was clearly talking about learning to adapt and be willing to fuck girls who are a few pounds overweight who are more than just a wet cold sore. Then after they worship you, you can tell them to lose the fucking weight.

The goal of this is to stop justifying girls who vaguely resemble an oompa loompa with their little pooch bellies when you put them on your kitchen counter.

I'm getting older and starting to make a lot more money so its important that if a girl is going to use me that I get serious goods in return. Otherwise she better make some fucking money too.

Now the plan:

RIP GIRLFRIEND 2.0:

1) Eat. If you're hungry, eat. If you're not hungry, eat.

2) Lift. If you want to lift, lift. If you don't want to lift, lift.

3) No going out drinking M-W unless you are meeting up with a girl you haven't slept with yet.

4) No missing workouts. M,W,Sat, period. If you miss them you must wake up early to complete them the next morning. If you don't you have to wear pink panties to work the next day and only one of your nuts is allowed to "breathe" on the outside of the cotton.

5) Get 8 hours sleep every night unless you are banging a girl you just met. No exceptions. Unless it's Thursday.

6) No chasing ass, period. Ass will come. If you have to chase it, it's not worth it. Or you're just not a beautiful enough specimen yet. Focus on becoming a genetic freak. A Greek God of Human Flesh. An adonis sized being with a penis that invokes imagery of Thor's Hammer. In the meantime feel free to fuck average to above average looking girls if you can treat them like dirt while you focus on becoming a superior being. Just don't become complacent or fall in "love". Love is fleeting, but beauty is temporarily permanent.

7) Get fucking fat. No looking in the mirror and worrying about being fat. Be fucking fat. Own it. This isn't about what you look like, this is about becoming a holy God of God's. You can lose the fat later. Who gives a fuck if you play your way out of the starting lineup with 7's for 3 months. Those girls will look like a cross between Sam Cassell and Tyrone Hill once you're banging legitimately hot 22-25 year olds. 7's are not something you want to wake up to in the morning, so unless she has to leave for work earlier than you do you'll never be content with your life anyway.


Starting stats: 170 lbs, ~13-14% bodyfat. Going to 190 and maybe beyond motherfuckers.

RIP GIRLFRIEND. RIP GIRLFRIEND. RIP GIRLFRIEND.

Yeah just took 9mg melatonin, 2 benadryl, magnesium, and zinc.

Was going to take a sleeping pill too but I dont wanna overdo it I have a big day tomorrow.

And Im going out drinking tomorrow night with a girl I havent banged yet. Shes a teacher so the 8ball says "looks promising". Theyre always sloots. Something about working with kids all day makes them horny

Knew going in it was a no-close. She lives 45 mins away from me and we met in the middle and she had to be up at 6 am. That was an away game.

New shoes purchased...ran in them for the first time last night and felt better than I have in a long long time.

No calve stiffness...really felt like I could go for another mile at a solid 8 minute pace.

Never again will I go so long on worn out shoes.

Already lost my Thanksgiving 5 pounds! I attribute it to going back to Raisin Bran Crunch for breakfast and nixing the protein bar. 2 poops a day is much better than 1 every other day!

I eat a lot too, but I probably also eat more protein than you. That blocks you up but if I eat too much fibrous veggies, it also does the same thing. Le sigh....

One thing that has worked that I've experimented with was less protein and more processed grains, like white rice and pasta. I really don't wanna do that. I do white rice a few times a week though.

I've been shooting for 65g of protein a day. And I pair all my complex carbs with a protein, even if it is just milk or a bit of plain cream cheese. I really try to limit my simple carbs (aside from what I'm sure is in the raisin bran crunch) but that doesn't always work. Sometimes my cravings are hard core. If they last more than a few days sometimes I give in.

I was afraid to get on the scale after thanksgiving because I cheated like crazy, but I was pleasantly surprised to find I was a pound lighter than I was before thanksgiving.

Joe's New Balance Outlet has been having some great deals lately. I got two pairs for ~$50 shipped. First pair are awesome, super light weight cross trainers. The 2nd pair has not arrived. Go to Slickdeals.net and watch for deals popping up for this site. No reason to wait until after Christmas.

Last night I went to the gym, then played poker, then hit the bars til 2, then beat the shit out of a stripper in nba jam on super Nintendo and jn connect four, then went to the beach to watch the sunrise with her and some friends. Got 30 minute nap in before work.

Now im gonna take a nap and hit the bars. Its Thursday so no sleep til Brooklyn. RIP GIRLFRIEND
