He just said Comey lied under oath yesterday and would be glad to testify to that under oath.

Of course he is lying and won't testify unless forced, but I guess when the President says something it is big news.

I had not seen the timeline laid out like this:

Jan 24th - FBI interviews Flynn
Jan 26th - Sally Yates meets with Whitehouse counsel to tell them Flynn is a liar and possibly compromised.
Jan 27th - Yates meets with counsel again, Trump calls up Comey and invites him to dinner, asks for loyalty.
Jan 30th - Yates fired.
Feb 9th - we all find out that Flynn is a liar
Feb 13th - Flynn resigns
Feb 14th - Trump asks everybody in the Oval Office to leave except Comey so that he can tell Comey "Flynns a great guy," and "can you let this go?"

He "leaked" his own private memo that was unclassified. By that argument, I guess Obama leaks to Michelle every time he tells her about how his day at work was.

Comey is not a "leaker" in the context of classified information. I knew as soon as he said how his memo got out that the GOP would take it and run with it in that light.

As it stands I think there is basically no way that Trump is impeached, however if Trump testifies under oath I think there is a non-trivial chance he talks himself into an impeachment

Twitter has done so much censoring of the right that you cannot possibly draw any conclusions about the right from Twitter alone. You're also can't draw conclusions about people from Twitter data, as the use of the app is voluntary and likely doesn't appeal to a large subsect of the population. With the media continuing to shift further left in this country, more right-leaning individuals turned to twitter just for news feeds from Conservatives. They aren't going to voluntarily follow left-leaning news sources. Meanwhile, the left is full of people trying to improve their social profile on twitter, so they follow more people such that they can get more exposure and followers in return.

I'd say that twitter graph is more of a reflection of the media bias in this country than anything. Most journalists are completely out of touch with over half of America.



It would have been nice if Vice could have published the axis labels they used for their graph. It appears to be somehow correlated to discussion topics, but it's not very clear how.
