the Taurus Judge is not an AOW simply because it has a rifled barrel

the Game Getter is no longer an AOW when you put a shoulder stock and 18" barrel on it b/c then it's considered a long gun. if it had a shoulder stock and a 12" barrel, it'd be a SBR/SBS.

the law was written with the classic "sawed-off" shotgun in mind

Up for sale is a 1989 Marlin Papoose .22LR. Great shape...just a little minor wear on the receiver (like any Marlin of this model). Missing front sight. Comes with Bushnell 3-7 scope and 7rnd mag. No case.

Asking $225 in Wake Forest. Ship on your dime.

I have a Phoenix Arms HP22A that I don't want to get rid of but I have no reason to keep it. I love it but I don't shoot it and it's just sitting there. $75. Pics will be uploaded later on today in my gallery.

I have a Romanian Wasr that I would like to sell, or possibly trade.
I am the second owner, and have put approximately 500 rounds through it over the last two years.
I used it during a DCNC AK class, and was hitting at 12'' plate at ~140 yards every single time, while standing.

Included is the AK, 2 metal mags, bayonet, 2 plastic mags, scope mount, Primary Arms Micro red dot, and ~300(+) rounds of brass cased ammo.
Gun retails for: $550+
Plastic mags: $35
Scope mount: $45
PA micro: $150
7.62 brass ammo: $240+
Total Retail: $1020+

I will sell the whole package for $850.
$750 for everything minus the PA Micro dot.

I would like to split up as little as possible.

I am willing to trade for the following + cash as required:
M&P 15-22
AR 22lr upper (flat top)
16'' light weight mid-length AR barrel
complete light weight upper
Glock 22lr slide conversion
Glock 19, gen 3 or 4 (my cost is $450 otd, so that is what I value them at)
Contour +2 camera
Sig P238
Saiga 12 or 20

1984 Marlin 1894. Good shape, some spotty finish wear from use, nothing major. Wood in great shape. Shoots great, very slick. Does have crossbolt safety, but never bothered me.

Asking $475 in Wake Forest, NC. Ship on your dime. No trades.

ive got 195 brass cases. 9mm. 99% of them are federal.

are they worth anything to anyone? or is that something I just give away?

it certainly has some value, but 9mm is so easy to pick up at the range, it's not really worth that much. usually the folks willing to pay for it want large quantities (500 or 1k).

either keep saving it up or give it away. i've got a grocery bag full of 9mm brass i've acquired through random trades, pick ups, etc. and i don't even own a 9mm (yet).

Yeah I don't know anyone personally that reloads 9 mm. With it going for 21-25 cents a round it is tough to justify the time involved to save a penny or two per shot.

if you assume free brass (very safe assumption for 9mm) and buy in bulk, it's easy to shoot plated bullets for <$0.15/rd

you can shoot cast bullets for cheaper (most say not suitable for polygonal rifling aka glock factory bbls)

you can cast your own and shoot for somewhere around a nickel a round

plenty of folks reload 9mm. why? because you can shoot higher quality ammo for less money. not to mention that some of us just enjoy rolling our own and shooting them.

I said I don't know anyone personally. Of course people do it. They would not sell 9 mm dies if there was not a market for it.

Can someone recommend a decent place to buy a good value 9mm pistol at a retail/online outlet?

Someone told me to check out Gander's Mtn in Cary (haven't heard of it), or Joes(?) Gunshop in Garner (but its run out of a guys house...).

I'm looking for a lightly used or new 9mm <$400. If someone has something on here, please PM me. Otherwise, interested in hearing where you all have found great deals. Online sites welcome too. Thanks.

^so, people have told you great places to look for a good deal, but you've decided you're too good to check them out?

Seriously, those are both great suggestions.

You could also always go with http://www.galleryofguns.com

They have a lifetime in-house warranty on all firearms they sell.

But yeah. Gander Mtn and Joes Gunshop are good places. Who cares if it's run out of a guys house, it's still a legit small business. The fact that he runs it out of his house helps him turn a profit while keeping a lower MSRP than bigger shops. I'm all about helping your local gun shops. There's also Buds Gun Shop (online) and have them ship to your local FFL Dealer.

Gunbroker (online) is another good one.

I was in there 2 weeks ago and saw some decent prices on a few used handguns.

If you're buying new, i'd suggest Lawmen's. They always have the cheapest prices on new pistols whenever i've been in the market for a new one.

They had the cheapest LCP back when I was in the market for one. Ended up buying from Lawmens for the same price since there wasn't a Gander Mountain near Raleigh at the time.

I've got a shotgun for sale.

-Remington model 870 Express, 12ga, 3" chamber
-28" barrel with modified choke tube
-Barrel, receiver, magazine tube, and magazine cap were refinished with KG Gunkote satin black when the gun was new
-Sling studs have been added (front stud swivels)
-Condition is excellent/like new with less than 10 rounds fired
-Comes with original box and manual
-Price is $380, no trades unless you have that much worth of high end cutlery steel or a surface grinder.

I bought this gun thinking I was going to do a little duck hunting then decided I didn't like duck hunting.
This should be a very fair price. It's like buying a new gun and getting sling studs and Gunkote for $30.
I live in Rocky Mount and am willing to drive up to 1 hr for a transfer.

Tried to buy a handgun today at the show. My purchase permit was issued in 2008 in Wake county. The address on the permit doesn't match my driver's license but I still reside in Wake county. My driver's license lists my current address (in Wake county).

The sheriff I spoke to at the show said I was fine and so did another vendor. The vendor I was buying from refused to sell me the gun. I told them I would bring the sheriff over to discuss it and she said she did not care what the sheriff said. So, they have every right to set their own rules for sales....so I'm not mad at them.....but who is right?

Looking for a 9mm!

I don't know about purchase permits, but concealed carried permits are not valid unless the address matches your Driver's License.
