I am highly opposed to Starbucks implementing a new drink ordering system where the barista takes the customers name. (I work at Starbucks Cameron Village)

It is a cheap and synthetic attempt at a large corporation trying to come across as personable and caring. There are so many regulars that come in and I know their name, drink order, something about them etc. I enjoy these customers. Those customers are being dropped down to a commoner level by all customers being called by their name. I fucking hate it. It is not genuine. It lacks integrity!

i love krispy kreme coffee the best!

why?
1. it's not all doctored up like those coffee drinks with 6 names
2. it's cheap and conveniently located near doughnuts (if i liked doughnuts )
3. most importantly, it's FRESH ground daily unlike starbucks or most coffee chains for that matter

don't get me wrong, i like the occassional starbucks, but kk coffee is the way to go

also, what is the deal with fair trade coffee? i don't mean to be ignorant; just wondering.
