^their run of the mill cars do, but the aftermarket for vw is much stronger than for a camry, accord, maxima and such.

well i would like to fool the head unit to think that there is a cd changer connected and then just wire up a RCA to 1/8" jack cable for the ipod

everything i found requries a $60 unit

i remember a thread on tdub where someone wired it up with nothing to fool the head unit

so i searched and didnt find what what i want

i could have just made this up in my head though

I am a VW owner as of 8/30/05!! Traded my mustang in and got an '02 2.0L GLS 4-Door with the 5 speed manual. It's not the fastest car but it's a crap load of fun to drive and I get so much more distance out of a tank of gas!

I don't really want to make many changes to the car. The only thing I am considering are some new wheels and new pedals. What is the best site for a good deal on after market stuff?

Oh yeah I will post a pic soon.

i envy your 2.0 gas mileage right now

http://www.vwvortex.com is a forum all about vws and more
http://www.vwfixx.com is another
they both have classified sections... but careful, they may make you want to do lots of things to your vw.
