My '04 civic needs some repair work. rear bumper, rear passenger quarter pannel. Its been hit twice in praking lots, once scratched pain, the second time fucked it up good. Second time had a witness, so insurance from the guy who hit and drove off is covering it. Where is a good palce localy to get estimates done on the car? I have Farm Bur ins, his was Geiko, Farm Bur is handling the claim and billing his ins.

If his insurance is paying the bill, take it to the highest quality place possible. dealership maybe? you might work it so you get a whole new paint job, rather than just matching where the repairs are.

tried 3 honda places so far and got told they did not do any body work. Looking for a place that give high estimate, as sombody at my parents church runs a body place and may be willing to give me a discount. But I want estimates that cause heart failure in the insurance adjuster.

insurance adjusters aren't retarded. this is their full time job, they punch shit in their little laptop and it spits out a price. they pay the 'going' rate. i've worked for a body shop and have seen some pretty interesting conversations/almost fights between the body shop owners and insurance adjusters.

anyways, i dont really know anywhere in raleigh, if you want to go to randolph county i can give you suggestions for overpriced quotes and also for good work, tho.

edit: they have all the ratings in labor time for pretty much any repair on any vehicle and of course the going rate for body work. they do have to usually pay the shop 15% over on any parts so they can make some money there too (not that it matters to you)
