well, I can tell you why you can't claim BC tickets yet...because the site has been down during the time they were going to enter in tickets for seniors, so now it's been locked out long enough for them to do that

I wouldn't even expect it to be working until tomorrow

and for whoever asked about petitioning, etc....
Please, please first understand that the errors in the system are not a function of the "online method" but are a problem with teh software company hired to handle it all.

My recommendation includes getting a new company, or contracting w/ our own Computer Science Dept to handle this, since we should be much better than this

and, they won't go back to the old way, for too many reasons to list, so the thing we should focus on is how to make this work

and that includes having a person on standby who can directly address all students...but we really need to get this damn code working first, if nothing else than to send out emails to let people know what's going on

if you haven't done so already, go to http://tickets.ncsu.edu and sign up on that listserv (left hand side) and I will send out emails letting people know when to request/check to claim/etc including info on when the site is down

Yeah, I had them monitoring that early on thsi morning...no one lost their ticket to UNC that supposably already had it (like they did for the FSU game)

and yeah, BC shoudl be fully working in the morning...I'll get back on it then, but here's a little hint: nothing changes after 5pm, nothing

OK, so....I'm asking Athletics what their availability is for a student forum on online tickets
So you can voice your concerns, and I (and Athletics) can adequately share with you all where this has come from and where it will be going in the future...

plus, it's important that you get your opinion heard before student elections show you can make sure you're getting someone willing to listen to you all

so just to verify and clarify... I know my group was selected for the BC game, so we can claim/print our tickets tomorrow morning... meaning, we won't be able to see what kind of seats we got until the morning... correct?

because the website shows no extension of the claim period, so I dont want the computer to mess up and say that I didn't claim my tickets because the claim period hasn't been changed on the site yet....

I am a group leader and mine says "no tickets found that match your request," but one other guy in my group can claim and print his ticket, and so can another one... BUT THEY ARE IN DIFFERENT SECTIONS..... we are all in the same group... I can't claim my tickets, they can claim theirs but they come up in different sections... this is crazy

fifth time saying this, but...since the system was down, they haven't gotten to entering your tickets manually yet...expect them tomorrow...if not, I'll handle it closer to time...

there's little use spending energy fixing something five days from a game...if we get to Thursday and nothing's working then I'll worry, but for now I'll assume that they might have it working ***crosses fingers***
