Anyone else been there? I went there today and that shit is ridiculously good.

I'd recommend not being scared of black people if you want to try it out.

717 E. Martin Street, near downtown

I got the BBQ Chicken Leg Dinner - 3 legs, 2 sides, hushpuppies, and some fatback.

~ $6.00 without drink

uhhh, yeah...must have been slow cooked a long time b/c even the inside was dark with the sauce

apparently the menu changes from day to day but today they had bbq and fried chicken, baked chicken, bbq beef ribs and riblets, and probably something I am forgetting. The sides were yams (great),
macaroni and cheese (great), butter beans, squash, potato salad, black eyed peas, and a few others

the owner told me on my way out that fried chicken livers were always available fresh upon request, which was what I was hoping to get there in the first place

good as fuck

Ole Time's BBQ chicken is cooked in a vinegar-ish sauce, I think there is tomato in it also

at least that is how it always seems to me

I really cannot believe that no one else has been to this place

riblets + yams + squash + fatback + hushpuppies + lemonade + brownie = $8.something

Fatback is good.

Tomato-based BBQ sauce, be it for chicken or pork, is not.
