The internets are abuzz with Gore's recent political elbow-rubbing. Some are speculating that Hillary's recent attacks on Bush are a move to the left so as to cover her back in case Mr. Moveon starts campaigning for real.

http://politicalwire.com/archives/2005/09/22/is_clinton_worried_about_gore_running.html

I think he would do well.

I would vote for him in a second. In addition to appearing on Futurama twice, I think he would really get some good stuff done.

I liked him with the beard, he looked less like a plastic figurine.

that, and I would take Gore of Hillary ANY day of the week.

He was on the Simpsons, too.

I think if it was less 2000 campaign and "HE BETRAYED US RARRRR," and more 2000 concession speach, he'd be a great choice.

I would vote for him over Dubya any day of the week.

But I would not vote for him over McCain. I would not even vote for Hillary over McCain.

I think Gore's shown his ass too much over the past few years and positioned himself to be a little psycho. Kinda like Dean. All that Gore's good for anymore is being a rebel rouser for the Dems.

^^^^Whatever.

Who do they have? Giuliani and McCain aren't real Republicans, so they're left with...

Bill Frist? Jeb Bush? Chuck Hagel?

Al Gore ftw

I might have voted for him until he went on his (un)holy tirade about how George Bush was the devil a couple of years ago. The Democrats can do better now.

I think those are likely choices. And don't forget santorum.

The thing is, I can't even imagine a campaign between someone like bill frist or santorum and someone like al gore... what would the debates be like?

Gore: we must protect the environment!
Santorum: The environment? who gives a shit about the environment? the end times are a comin' and sodomy is now legal! Soon we'll have men fucking dogs in the streets! And here you are, talking about dolphins and the air and shit?

hell yeah it'd be fun to watch. Gore is crazy now. He's not gonna sit there babbling about lock boxes. He's rabid, and he's angry, and I think he'd tear to shreds anyone who tried to run against him.

I'd be GLAD to vote for a democrat, rather than just settling, if it was gore.

^ I will say with complete honesty that my ideas of leaving hte us would be quickly expedited by a presidential win by santorum or frist. I just... I can't imagine it. At least bush is kinda sane. Those guys... phew

Then Dob motioned for At to come towards Steve... Teve Torbes, At, Dob Bole, Uchanan, Ucotos, Ucomos, Ucant, Teve, At, Bole, Dat, Boba Fet, Toni Kukoc, Bee-Bo-Bo, Lamar Alexander 2." Santorum won't get the nomination, his name is too similar to the word Scrotum and the American people won't stand for that.

Al Gore was on Conan (or one of those shows a while back), and he seemed a lot cooler than he did during the campaigning. If he were like that again, and not the boring robot he was before, I could see him winning. He seems reasonably intelligent (orders of magnitude smarter than Bush at least), and the story about him chartering planes to help the people out in NO was kind of cool.
