Activities on the brickyard should not be allowed seeing as though they give the false impression that the university approves of and to some extent sponsors the various groups that use it. Additionally, the lack of police presence to remove people who are expressing their opinions without the proper credentials is disappointing to say the least.

you're right, the university should neither approve of nor sponsor first amendment rights.

just curious, what kind of event are we talking about here? b/c there are extra permits youll need to get in the case of sound and other media.
