How would I go about doing that?

I use my trunk a lot, but I have a 15" sub (i'm hopefully going to downgrade to a 10 or 12" soon) and a 1000w amp.

The sub uses a 1.5 cu. ft. box. I need to build something that will enable me to remove the system quickly (quick disconnect cables if they make them).

Any suggestions?

i would mount the sub to the box, then pwr, gnd, remote, and rca's you can just disconnect when you want to pull it. make sure to pull the fuse before disconnecting the wires, so you dont set your trunk on fire.

mount the amp to the side wall, install a toggle switch for the +12v accessory wire and only remove the sub box (you will only need to disconnect two wires from the sub and flip the switch, amp doesnt take up that much space).

i agree with igor. don't mount the amp to the box, put it somewhere out of the way in the car. i have mine that way and only have to disconnect two wires to pull my sub box

use security screws or pop rivets on the amp to deter theft

good call, i bolted my amp in. plus it's under my seat and you can't get any of my system out w/o opening the tailgate with the key! i learned from my first system that got stolen out of the jeep in my driveway.
