But has anyone else noticed that everyone from our own leaders, to those of foriegn nations using the words "Political Capital" now i dont know about everyone else, but i had never heard that phrased used the way it was meant by bush before he said it and it seems to have completely taken root.

basically how much in the past do you think that people would have jumped on such a turn of phrase like that. it seems this happens all the time nowadays. another one that comes to mind is the "lets roll" from 9/11... not quite our leaders, but still a simple phrase that for a while became huge. my own musings i guess...
