The Wolves D.I.N. has booked their next show for March 30th, with The Books headlining. The show should be hot. It'll be going down in the Talley Student Center Ballroom. More details to come later.

Thought you'd enjoy that... we were also trying to get the animal collective (dates didn't mesh) and the blood brothers (too f'ing expensive).

Also working on,
The Go! Team
Les Savy Fav

and one hell of a hardcore show

I'm sure Les Savy Fav would find a way to rip down the flags in the Talley galleries during the show.

AWESOME.

For all of you that aren't still at state... sorry for not doing it earlier...

For all of you that are still at state...

So... I <3 les sav fav BUT they're looking like a no go. And yes they are still together, i've heard rumors that they are about to break up... mostly due to all of them getting hitched. But, i've also heard that they're gonna have one last throw down tour, and yes they are F'ing amazing so you should def. go see them. It's looking like they're significantly out of our budget, they could be done but it'd be a $25 ticket and i know that doesn't roll too well in the indie world.

Still checking on the Go Team... If anyone has any suggestions, just holla!!!

design school has a byob policy at the bash bc it has been tradition since the beginning of the school/bash, started back when people werent so uptight about alcohol on campus. trust me, there is no way any other group could get it for an event today, they are slowly keeping the alcohol out of the bash, i.e. this year they had tons of cops there and we werent allowed to have liquor or glass bottles.

Well... regardless of who funds the design school party... it's still on campus... which means it has to go through dr. stafford... i just wanna know how much it costs to pay him off.

this is pretty cool. it would have been interesting to see the reaction to animal collective live. too bad that didn't work out. les savy fav would have been cool, too. blood brothers would only be good if the entire athletics department had to watch.

Is there any parking for non students near talley? I'd rather not wait until the night of the show, but obviously I'd also rather not pay a 64% fee.

lots of parking options...

All shows will be after 5pm... so you can park in the C (employee) and DC (coliseum deck) spots.

i've never had any problems pulling up in that little turning loop area, flipping on the hazards, and running inside... the box office or whatever is right on the first floor, right?

i cant believe you guys are complaining about 4.50 in fees bringing the ticket total to a whopping 9.50 to see a solid show on campus

be grateful

i think the problem is that tickets are only $5, thereby making $4.50 in fees kind of silly

regardless, it should be worth $9.50

seriously people... a shitty show at the cradle is like $10... a decent show is usually $15

There's no way anyone can complain

I'm just saying it's idiotic to have $4.50 in fees on a $5 ticket. It's not like that $4.50 is gonna kill me, it's just that the amount of fees is absolutely ridiculous.

but technically speaking

the fees only seem ridiculous because the tickets are so cheap

am i right?

what do i care, i cant go
