This is actually the first one I was seriously considering joining. I was part of YP in Kansas, but it was more of a front to get drunk than anything else. Maybe the Fayetteville one is more legit.

hmm..i'll ask around. what parts of town are convenient?

I've heard good things about the Bordeaux Creative School @ Boone Trail/Village Dr. intersection:

http://www.creativeschools.com/

apparently they are gated and have a passcode to get in

I just watched the J Cole special on HBO where he comes back and does a show at the Crown.

I've lived here for like 20 years and I had no idea Fayetteville was the "2-6." What the hell is that referring to?

Glad I don't live in Fayetteville anymore. I liked my job/house/neighborhood, but the city, traffic, shopping, crime, etc all suck. Basically nothing worth doing there except maybe the Airborne museum (which is great) and the military memorials. Downtown is okay, but almost all of the restaurants are meh and it smells like shit sometimes.

Main thing I don't miss is the people. So many that just don't give a damn about anything especially the city they live in. Maybe that was the military influence and the transient nature, but it got old seeing neighborhoods not even 10 years old falling apart, homes not maintained, yards gone to hell, etc.
