I just bought a gift for my sister at the Best Buy store in cary about 2 hours ago and there was a rebate offer. My rebate receipt says that this particular rebate is eligible for online submission. I entered all the information and it says it does not recognize my customer pin number (a 17 digit number at the bottom of my receipts). I checked it quite a few times but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know if there's a certain amount of time after the purchase is made before the number is in the system? Any other ideas/advice?

well i tried again this morning and everything went fine. must have taken a little while for it to get into the system. i didn't even know there was a rebate on it in the first place so it was a pleasant surprise. if i hadn't gotten it to work i would have paid what i had intended to pay initially so it would have really been no loss to me.
