This is a pretty good tutorial... I tried it and without being a tech genius got it to work. I assume this will work for a number of players by changing the output. Anyway, for those who are interested: http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/guides.html

bump... a lot of people are having questions about this. I hope it helps. It's only 1 way to do it but it worked 100% for me on the first try.

Nice post, thanks. Since I'm the "computer guy" in the family, had a lot of questions thrown my way about stuff like this.

No problem. I think a number of other posts are getting flamed so I wanted to bump this one. Like I said, it's just one way to do it but it's the only way I tried and by following the directions cookbook style, it worked. Maybe there's a more sophisticated way but since the PQ DVD or whatever it's called seems to not be free, I prefer this way...hope it works for you too.

According to people trying to use PQ DVD, it's not functional as a demo, which is what you can get for free.

^ what about the sound? in the demo version i don't get any but i want to know when i purchase the software will the sound be enabled w/ the pqdvd."

I'm not trying to argue here, but if you want to use bit torrent to "borrow" the same buyer's info for that, feel free. My suggestions were for free software that admittantly is a 2-step process.

Tried the method in the tutorial...Videora works great for converting some of my Xvid files, but after ripping Anchorman, it was giving me a 20+ hour estimate on converting the ripped VOB to iPod MP4....I find it hard to believe it would take that long with a 3Ghz dual-core processor.
