it is difficult to tell if someone was doing something to express themselves, or simply to get a rise out of people and be offensive. Some people constantly post the same stuff over and over again knowing that the reaction to it will be strongly negative and expect people to be offended, that being their goal.

I personally find a lot of things that people say on this thing stupid and offensive, so I reply to them and tell the why they're wrong. For instance, I hate every time that InsaneMan says anything about religion, but I don't think we should ban him because he is anti-Semitic. Instead of denying that dissenting opinions exist, let's tell them why they're wrong.
