haha this thread cracks me up. I like evans, but page 6 says "he has to be consistent" and not a 1 hitter quitter, before I can place my cards all in. He has only played 1 game. So Earl is partially correct on the experience of evans.

Im not going to make a comparison of the two based on 1 game from the back up qb. I need to see more footage. Ill talk after the FSU game

Stone is retarded. I hate to say it, but it's true.

Evans is the anti-Stone. He recognizes coverages, plays smart and throws the ball where the defense isn't.

The recievers were great, but don't downplay the role Evans had in finding the single coverage and exploiting it.

Another thing Evans has is TOUCH. Something that Stonehands will never have.

The only balls evans completes are deep balls on the outside shoulder(s) in which the recievers HAVE to go up and make plays. Ive only see a handful of passes in coverage displaying pure accuracy.

But you guys are the same people who doubted us. Why the change after all the mutiny?

Evans had a solid performance tonight. However, he holds onto the ball to long, and he only throws up jump balls. I have not seen him face much pressure...yet.

In our situation, I'd strongly consider running a swing pass, explore a bootleg looking to tightends in the flats, a draw, or a screen before I'd consider running:

a) A sweep against a very athetlic and well-coached linebacker corp

b) A fucking play action pass, when coming into this game our passing game has been little more than a decoy.
