Dr. Hren (Pronounced Wren) at Cary Dermatology. She's been my dermatologist since I was 3 and she's personable as well as knowing her stuff. She listens well and doesn't jump to conclusions before you're finished explaining whatever is going on.

Blue Ridge Derm. Assoc. ... they have two locations... one (the obvious), and one in Cary right at Cary Parkway and Lake Pine Drive.

I can't find their Cary contact info to save my life online but that's the office I used to go to. I need to get back there too... it's been a while.

I see Robert Johnson at Cary Dermatology. He's worked pretty well for me.

I was really hoping to find one who specializes in skin cancer...

i've seen a few who seem to concentrate on the cosmetic stuff and i would rather find someone more skin cancer oriented. any ideas how to do that?

Family Dermatogy? Ive seen Mr Bean there, he did my biopsy for my skin cancer. I read some reviews on Dr Flynn and they weren't very good. If you can be seen my Mr. Bean I recommend him.

^ no after ~18 years of being treated with creams and told that the rash would go away from dermatologists around the country, this one dug deeper and diagnosed it as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and began aggressive treatments and he's been in remission for about 10 years

that's some bullshit man.

rash that won't go away? tired all the time? put some ointment on it. that's terrible. hopefully 1st year med students from a decent school would be able to diagnose that. i'm glad your dad is doing ok.

was he part of an hmo

Taking the thread in a different direction, how do you all feel about mole mapping versus visual skin checks (for the purpose of skin cancer detection)?
