Who's the guy in the NBA who had that horrible knee injury yesterday?

Also, sportscenter didn't show the clip of it happening, does anyone have it?

i was listening to the game on the radio when it happened and they had a microphone at court level...man he was just screaming in pain...did not sound good...i dunno how bad it actually is though...later that night they literally 'popped it back into place'

that's really not all that bad to watch

i think breaks are much worse to watch

at least you're supposed to bend at the knee. not that grotesquely, but still.

a leg snapping is much, much worse IMO

in the 90's when that guy slid into 2nd base late and popped over the bag as a result and had his leg break and poke 6 inches out of place showing through his pants was more gross.

i remember cringing at mcgahee's knee in the 03' fiesta bowl (Miami vs Ohio State)

this one was bad for me because I literally heard him screaming in pain for 20 seconds on the radio right as it happened

Reason #1 why they should get a college degree.

Have fun working at McDonald's on a gimp leg.

^^even if he had gone to Duke I'd imagine it wouldnt have been for more than a season or two...ie even if he had gone to college he probably wouldve gone pro before getting his degree...but I hear your point and think all players should go to college

That sucks for Livingston. That had a pretty good article about him in ESPN the Mag a few months back. He never lived up to his potential and with this injury, he probably never will. That was a sick video though

I'd trade a working leg for NBA lottery pick money, I mean he is a millionaire. And why can't he earn a degree now with all of his new found free time? Going straight to the nba was probably the best thing he ever did since his inability to play a full season was never showcased.

What if he's done that as a freshman at Duke? No NBA. K would have yanked his scholly. Would have flunked out b/c he couldn't have majored in history of ACC basketball with the rest of the team.

^^You think a guy who ended his basketball career as a freshman with a knee injury would have kept his scholly for 4 years? Has that ever been done anywhere?

Guys who suffer bad injuries as freshmen often get forced out of the program in one way or another and end up transferring to a school in a weaker conference.

Thanks for clarifying my point. No school would let a guy sit on his ass for 4 years with a career ending injury.

Yeah, if anything this is a great reason why players should go straight to the pros the minute they get the chance.

You do realize he's banked $10 million in three seasons right? And that he's going to make $4.5 million next season alone???

Yeah I bet if he was a junior majoring in sociology at Duke right now he'd be on a much brighter career path

Why is it that when someone passes up the guaranteed money on Deal or No Deal he's considered a dumbass but if someone takes the guaranteed money on a professional contract he's considered a stupid n*gger?

It's a shame you can't still get a degree, without playing college basketball, while in the NBA or after your playing carrer.

Oh wait...

It's a shame that he banked more cash in a year than you'll probably ever see in your life.

Why the fuck does an NBA player need a degree? It has zero value to him.
