Anyone with any remote interest in going to Beijing next summer?

I kind want to go since one of our family friends gave me some tickets to a few events and I guess they would be a waste if I don't go, but then again, it is like a $4,000 trip at least.

I'd rather go tour China some other time that wasn't in conjunction with the massive influx of foreigners.
