One time we had a chef come to our Christmas dinner, and he brought deviled eggs. Instead of mayo, they had horseradish sauce in them. That was not a good combination of flavors.

Not really heinous food, just random. One of my uncles is like Creed from The Office, he always forgets than just grabs some random at the last minute...we tell him he doesn't have to bring anything, but he insists


Two years ago it was some fries from Wendy's, last year it was a Tombstone Pizza...this year I got my money on some Lunchables.

My bf's aunt can't bake stuffing. From a box. The year we went, it was a crunchy, compressed chunk of carbs.

My mom makes this butternut squash casserole. It might be good, but the texture always turns out like extra runny, but lumpy mashed potatoes.

Also, corn pudding. Same thing, maybe my mom just can't cook well, but the middle always never sets up and makes the entire dish really soggy.

yeah yams with marshmallows is terrible.

Luckily both sides of the family have the sweet potato casserole with the brown sugar and nut topping, which is awesome.

My grandmother makes this oyster casserole that only she and my dad will eat. I'm just not a big fan of oysters to begin with, but in casserole form, it just accentuates the somewhat phlegmy texture of the things.
