I've done this before but without a lot of success

my hair is pretty long now, all over
hangs below my ears a little; shaggy on top

my mom wants me to get a "nice" haircut
she said that's what she wants for Christmas

I think I might want a mohawk or something ridiculous because I might not be able to have a do like that after graduation

so... suggestions?
