By land, sea or air...good luck. I'm not leaving D.C. till late tomorrow night so I don't sit in a parking lot.

i'll be going up through greenville I-95/richmond tomorrow at some point, haven't really thought of what time I should head out. Can't be that bad, can it? Any experience?

i also have lots of reading material if i get stuck on the jetway

my flight was delayed (not by much)

it snowed in chicago

and they lost 1/2 my luggage

but someone i knew was on the rdu-ord flight and my luggage will be there in the morning for me to get on my way to work

overall one of the smoothest holiday trips to date. someone from the airline actually called me to tell me my luggage was on the last flight in tonight. this is when i love small airports that actually give a shit

Today's trip was really REALLY easy. Almost nobody out on the road so I was able to cruise all the way home.

It is really quite amazing to me how all the asshole drivers in NC seem to exist only once you get back into Raleigh.

Oh, also, we must've put the shittiest tires known to Jesus on my jeep for driving in the rain. If you accelerate any harder than slow as balls, the tires spin like crazy (if you're going slower than 20 mph). It also skids easily in emergency stop situations, and it doesn't have ABS! I sure felt safe today.

At least I made it back without sliding off into a ditch/tree/small gnome.
