BROUGHT TO YOU BY baonest

OFFICIAL RULES:

1. Paypal $5 entry fee to baonest to enter.
2. The person who posts the first thread of the New Year in Chit Chat, starting 1/1/2008 12:00:00 will receive all the winnings. If there are multiple threads dated the same, then the pot will be split equally.
3. Winner will be called the First Loser, 2008.
4. Oeuvre will not participate due to having a life.
5. Post here when you have officially enrolled.
6. If you don't like the idea, then shut the fuck up.
7. Correct spelling of usernames a must. Mine is French... and difficult.
8. Winnings will be paid within one (1) week.
9. Contest sponsors are allowed and welcome to enroll.
10. You cannot win unless you enroll.
11. Ignoring rule 6 will not be tolerated.

i cant guarantee the winnings right away. perhaps the next morning. im not going to be up on TWW all night.

maybe til about 7-8pm ill check. then its gonna be sometime the next afternoon.

if the pot gets a decent amount. i may log in for a try to win some extra loot.

I dunno. There are a ton of nerds around here. I'm sure if the pot were high enough some nerd would just write a script to check the time on the server and attempt to post at exactly midnight. Said nerd probably has a ton of aliases which he can draw upon to sweeten his odds of winning. But that doesn't mean he would actually be sitting at his computer to make the post. He could be out pre-spending his winnings.
