what motor?
I don't know if it had options or not, and don't feel like looking. Just curious. 3/24/2008 10:42:00 AM |

Should be worth $4k. Maybe more to the right person.

No clue on the value, but I will say the car is badass. That's not the one that used to park in the Coliseum deck from time to time, is it? 3/24/2008 3:03:20 PM |

^^yeah, that's a pretty rare piece... especially if it still works.
as for the car itself, 4 doors just don't bring much in any variety. off the top of my head i'd say $5-6k maybe depending on exact condition, if it's truly all originial or has had some resto work, etc. pics are hard to judge by.
i'd say it would be worth more if it was optioned better. even though it's got the upscale bonneville nameplate, it doesn't appear to have a lot of the extra options that many had.
the engine is probably a 389 or 400. could be the more desireable 421, but doubtful judging from the rest of the options. if it's got tri power that would make it worth a little more also.

All of the doors are in the condition that that one door is in, and he said that everything is original. Like I said, when I talk to him again, I will get more details. 3/24/2008 4:37:00 PM |

Ok--in that door panel picture I see two crank handles. One is obviously to roll down the window, but wtf is the other one for? 3/24/2008 8:37:11 PM |

the smaller window that on most older vehicles you push out. 3/24/2008 10:52:37 PM |

yep, vent windows. most all of the "luxery" brands back then had them. cadillac, chrysler, etc. it'd definitely be a plus if they still work, most originals don't. 3/24/2008 11:33:55 PM |

Wow, that thing looks great. I normally don't like chrome, but those rims don't look bad at all on that. 5/4/2008 5:03:18 PM |

yeah. i like them because the car is really heavy and it sits right down on the rims and doesn't look all jacked up. this makes it looks g. 5/4/2008 5:05:42 PM |

I was thinking the exact same thing...those rims actually work quite well. My only quibble is that the exhaust tips look tiny...a minor complaint, all things considered.5/4/2008 5:58:04 PM |

It's one of the better rides I've seen in a while. Usually for me rims like that on old cars just don't look classy, that looks classy as hell. Kudos for real. 5/4/2008 7:11:38 PM |

badass. i agree, most 20"+ wheels are either out of place looking or the offset is completely screwed on older cars. those look nice though. 5/4/2008 7:20:13 PM |
