in all, bounties will net you more xp and money.
rifts will have the higher chance at legendaries (especially with the blood shards now giving a chance at torment level set items)

if you're just looking for the blood shards join the rift it forward community. (you request to join a game, you immediately teleport to the group, kill the rift guardian, and open a new rift if they ask you to, then leave)

if not, join a rift running group, if you get a good group of 4 it should speed things up a lot.

I like the rift-run groups. Sometimes it takes a few games to stumble onto one, but once you do you can blow through rifts in no time. Cycle through openers and everyone wins.

Today, I picked up the all abilities to the enchantress token (was using the scoundrel before that) and the cloak that gives me three wolves. I shelved the Maurader's piece until I get more in favor of the three wolves melting face. Up to near 700k dps (but that's very subjective) and 5mil toughness. I have my runs down to just over 20 mins. :-D

Here's my question, and I want to choke the life out of the little snots in game when I asked this, how, as a DH, do I gear out the enchantress? I found a legendary amulet just now, did not ID it, put it in the stash for the wiz to ID, and it still rolled Dex...

items roll stats when they're dropped.

regardless of what class you id them with


however, unless they've fixed it, boxes roll for the class that opens the box

I might have to try that tomorrow. I had to strip the gear off of my 68 wiz to give her. What sucks is that I can't even craft the level 70 stuff yet on the wiz until he's 70. Hell, it may be more prudent to just stick with the Scoundrel, but this is the first all-abilities token I've found, so it was fun to try.

haven't done this, but then again i havent even tried it on my DH. i have better success with the templar follower. i tried the scoundrel and it sucks. the templar helps me with his charge stun and also the heal he gives has saved my ass a few times.

Had some good luck with some drops/kadala and now have 6 piece set bonus for DH with Cindercoat.

Ran my first T6 rift solo not to bad. T4 took me 7 min.

gotten 2 pieces of the earthquake set now, terrible rolls. but i figure if i get to 4 piece i can roll with the set and replace pieces as they drop.

was doing t4 fairly well now, still die to bad groups and getting locked in by wallers and fire chains though

yeah, glad they decided to do so. half the reason i play is to hear the "ching" on a semi-regular basis. the only people that are against it are elitists who don't want others having the same gear as them.

i'm having a severe set item drought. always hate seeing clan mates getting 2-3 set pieces a day, when i've only gotten 2 pieces of nats and 1 piece of IK in like 200 hours of play.

I've had fairly good luck. The ones that are moreso "elite" are basically the streamers who end up getting to abuse all the latest exploits (tall man's finger CotA anyone?)

I'm quite glad that its turning into the casual game it should be, although I still wish we could set up direct connections to whoever we want to play with away from the b.net servers.

Ladders would justify all the patches, but still not really necessary

i think with the drop rates increasing we'll see the more favorable rerolls start taking longer over time.

more souls = more reasons to spend them

granted since the droprate hike i went from about 45 souls to 375ish

just picked up the mother fucking RoRG FINALLY. probably 1000 or so a1 bounties. the funny thing is that i've done a bunch of t2 and t1 runs lately, but on a whim i decided to join a group doing normals and got it from my 7th cache from them. it was a bleh roll but still its all about dat legendary effect. 5 mins later found mara helm also lol.

So as of this morning, I am 5/6 for the Mara set. Do I stand a better chance of getting the boots to drop or getting the RoRG to from caches? I know this is highly subjective, but I know that some folks have both already.

spend blood shards on kadala for boots would be faster imo. the only drawback is that it's nice to have the RoRG to open up chest or gloves for cinder or mf/t&t.

That was my line of thought as well since they supposedly upped the set piece drop rates. Since it's just 5/6, I switched out for my Cindercoat and wow....

Taking a small break from rifting on the DH, so I am tinkering with a Monk. What's a good leveling build? I am unstoppable when taking on groups, but my single target dps is horrid, terrible, and awful. Google was not a whole lot of help unless I am just looking in the wrong place.

Usually the reddit pages for the class or just the official class forum gets you info for builds.

After getting my DH to the point where I can do T6 with 1 hand started working on my old WD. Took me like 3 days to get it to where it took weeks to get to with DH. So much easier to gear and so many more options.

the best leveling build is: anything! but get a socketed weapon and put a royal ruby in it.

just pick an element and go with it. With the buff to the finishers for monk you can go basically any element. Although the fire sidekick is probably the best for dps so eventually you want to might to migrate to fire gear.

I had a lot of lightning gear so I just stuck with that


for single target it's going to suck until you get mythic rhythm. So just aoe shit until then

use lashing tail kick or the appropriate bell affix for zeh damages. Palm is amazing as well.

if you have a shitty legendary weapon you should try to enchant secondary stat to -25 level requirement. especially if it has a socket. then you'll level fast as hell starting at 45

belial is leaps and bounds harder than azmodan. azmodan it was a lot easier to avoid damage. compared to belial where you had to have like split second avoidance.

Season 1 starts tonight at 9P EST.

Anyone had a chance to check out any new content? I did a few lesser rifts yesterday but no keystone, and no goblins I killed spawned the portal. Sad panda.

Barbs got some nice buffs in the patch, which kinda makes me want to play mine again.
