does anyone else have a problem with uploading more than one picture at a time?
i tried uploading a few at a time a while back and thought it may still have a few bugs from having just upgraded (or whatever you call it ). anyways, i tried again today and the same thing occurred. it seemed to go ahead and upload the 1mb of pics i wanted to put in my gallery, but when it got around to going to the new, refreshed gallery, it just went to "page cannot be displayed."
i guess it's not a HUGE problem, but i thought i would just point it out 7/9/2002 10:11:33 PM |

it is probably an issue with your connection. certain browsers seem to timeout. sometimes the server might be timing you out. all i know is that on fast connections or locally it works flawlessly. just try uploading fewer pictures.
BTW, what is your internet service? 7/9/2002 10:20:16 PM |

also make sure one of the pictures isn't a .bmp file 7/9/2002 10:32:12 PM |

try one pic at a time. if you have multiple pics and they amass to larger file sizes, then you get timed out somewhere along the way. i had this problem on cable modem even at one time...couldn't upload more than two or three pics at a time. being on dialup you have even less bandwidth and should only attempt one pic at a time. 7/10/2002 3:48:35 AM |

i'm impressed with the quality of suggested solutions.
problem: can't upload more than one picture at a time. proposed solution: upload only one picture at a time. 7/10/2002 4:38:06 AM |

if tww was more into open source geek stuff everyone could have ftp access to their own photogallary where they could just ftp the pictures up. but ofcourse the watermarks would not get there... haha
btw, I tried to upload a 10meg pic one time and it didn't work any reason why? And I am on a fast connection 7/10/2002 3:38:20 PM |

define fast
i was on a 'fast' cable connection and could only upload three pics at a time.
10 megs is big for any connection. the server probably timed you out.
there is another solution to the "can't upload more than one pic at a time" problem. solution: get a faster connection.
uploading one pic at a time is cheaper. you make the call. it's your money. 7/10/2002 9:46:52 PM |

LeGo: Jake capped the maximum size of a picture able to be uploaded. I don't know what that number is offhand...but its well below 10mb. 7/10/2002 9:56:00 PM |
