Yeah...just give him the $15.
12/26/2008 4:01:09 PM
Usually i pay with a debit card whose number and expiration date i will not disclose. and when i go to the door i have on like basketball shorts with no pockets, and i'm like. oh let me go get your tip, and he's always like, nah don't worry about it, and i'm like u sure?, and he's like nah, and i'm like u mad? and he's like nah its coolI'm Big Business and i approved this message.
12/26/2008 4:02:18 PM
then they put you on a blacklist and make sure you're the last in line on deliveries
12/26/2008 4:03:09 PM
fine i'll just get carry out. its like 1 mile awayI'm Big Business and i approved this message.
12/26/2008 4:04:04 PM
Cheap fucker.
12/26/2008 4:04:27 PM
3 dollars is 3 dollarz
12/26/2008 4:05:09 PM
Zero. I don't believe in tipping.
12/26/2008 4:05:43 PM
^you should go work in a restaurant then.
12/26/2008 4:06:24 PM
i mean tipping is legit if they have to pay for gas or make less than minimum wage. You don't see me asking for a tip at my job, because i agreed to make $x/hour. I'm Big Business and i approved this message.
12/26/2008 4:07:21 PM
But when you work at a job that accepts tips you agree to work at $x.xx per hour assuming you'll be taking in tips. Back when I worked at outback steakhouse I made $2.13/hour assuming i'd be able to make the rest of the money in tips.
12/26/2008 4:10:02 PM
If you don't want to tip, go pick up the pizza yourself lazy ass. They are still providing a service.
12/26/2008 4:10:24 PM
end well. i dont think this will
12/26/2008 4:10:38 PM
Maybe if people didn't tip at all you would get paid more per hour.
12/26/2008 4:12:18 PM
right but we don't live in europe.
12/26/2008 4:12:51 PM
america might as well be in europelike i don't see why i should tip people who are doing exactly what their job description says. If you go out of your way, or are extremely good/fast at what you do then yeah you deserve a tip i guess, but for the average waiter / delivery person there's nothing speedy or excellent about them.I'm Big Business and i approved this message./]
12/26/2008 4:14:05 PM
10-15% for pizza deliveries15-20% for restaurant service
12/26/2008 4:14:32 PM
Tipping only encourages the poor wages that servers make.
12/26/2008 4:15:08 PM
I think it's kinda bullshit that I have to pay a delivery fee and a tip to the driver. I'm not the one providing the resources for the delivery service, they are
12/26/2008 4:15:38 PM
It's not going to change unless you're proactive about it.

^^^lol is not tipping delivery people your idea of being proactive about it?]
12/26/2008 4:17:33 PM
$3 dollar bucks sounds reasonable
12/26/2008 4:17:57 PM
If you don't want to tip, you can always choose carry-out. That's what I do 95% of the time because I don't approve of the delivery fee.If you insist on delivery, give them at least $3 dollar bucks.I tip at least %20 per cents whenever I eat out.I can understand your natural resistance to tipping though Big Business.[Edited on December 26, 2008 at 4:19 PM. 12/26/2008 4:19:58 PM
$3 ain't shit to me but the difference between 1-2 and 2-3 can mean more to them. I'm not rich by any means but I could wipe my ass with 3 dollars. How many of you waste 3 dollars on some bullshit like beer, candy, etc? Don't drink one beer at the bar and bam you have 3 dollars back.
12/26/2008 4:20:37 PM
go head mr. wendell
12/26/2008 4:22:04 PM
its not that. its the principle that i'm already paying more than the pizza is worth and a delivery feeI'm Big Business and i approved this message.
12/26/2008 4:22:13 PM
^yeah I agree there but me not tipping isn't going to make a difference and I don't want to get blacklisted

20-30% on deliveries and non-buffet waiters.15% on To-Go people, since they would normally be a waiter, they just happened to get screwed that night. They also make minimum wage and sometimes share their money with a Food Runner.10% on buffet waiters.
12/26/2008 4:24:03 PM
You need to get yourself an order or two of wings from Dominos and go pick them shits up.[Edited on December 26, 2008 at 4:45 PM. Reason : ]

does that $12 include a delivery fee? if so, give him $14
12/26/2008 4:27:21 PM
12/26/2008 4:28:01 PM
Threads like this are why I'm glad I've never worked at chain/cheap restaurant where I'm sure most of you cheap fucks go.
12/26/2008 4:29:04 PM
The idea is not that you are paying a tip on top of a pizza that is worth $12.If the company had to pay the delivery drivers more, that money would have to come from womewhere, and the pizza would end up costing you closer to $15 anyway.Basically, you tip so that the food can be cheaper.
12/26/2008 4:32:24 PM
uh that doesn't make any sense at all.what about people who don't get delivery? if that was true then whats the point of the delivery charge?I'm Big Business and i approved this message.
12/26/2008 4:36:50 PM
think of it like this...if drivers got paid more, their extra wages would have to come from somewhere...and it would come from more expensive pizzas...you're going to pay for it regardless
12/26/2008 4:41:26 PM
This is why we all need to farm our own food.
12/26/2008 4:46:13 PM
i have a pizza tree in my backyard
