we used to jump of a couple bridges in high school, but you have to know where because there are a lot of spots that have shallow rocks that you can't see

other than that there isn't anything

Use the topo map to find the place that has teh most fall. It's probably the cliff.

it gets a little steep towards the damn, but i can't think of any cliff faces

the spot i am thinking about is probably about 20 feet but its probably too sloped to jump it

i'd bet that the picture is not from jordan lake

There is probably a good 20 foot jump near the picnic table if you can run through the woods and get a good enough leap not to bust ass. HAHAHAHAHA GOOD LUCK

If all your friends jumped off a cliff, would you do it too?
Why don't you just go jump off a cliff or something!

They don't allow you to jump into water or through clouds.

The closest I've ever found was a rope swing. I couldn't tell you how to get there other than to say we always got there from the New Hope Overlook.

Cliff jumping near Jordan Lake. Is that anything like mountain climbing at Wrightsville Beach?

there is a 20 or so ft "cliff" to jump off at falls lake. plenty deep enough water to jump into, and its over-hanged so you don't have to have any horizontal distance to not be paralyzed.

Sugar Lake Rock Quarry?

We used to go there in high school until the owner chased us off of his land with a shotgun in hand....

Say 'HAI!' to the water moccasins for me...

I miss sugar lake. We used to go there with mama and daddy and they would pay a guy smoking a cigarette 5 bucks for a black inner tube... (And always put a distinctive scratch in it so they could find it when it was time to leave)

Lots of cliff jumping, beer drinking, explaining to the kids why some of the women had their boobs out, Etc. God life in the early 80's was awesome.

We used to go to the quarry by Wendell. We even jumped in the middle of the night a couple of times. I think it's a little more than 40', too...more like 50. (I measured it with pebbles and a stopwatch, haha.)
