awesome cee-jay!

you should try and have the baby on 29 october instead of on the 31st, because 29 october is such an awesome day to have a birthday!

Haha, Joe, I'm hoping he/she isn't too comfortable come October...Alex came 2 weeks early...so here is hoping for a mid-October baby! In any case, I think Halloweenish time would be a great time to have a birthday! Every year you could have a costume party! Gets more than one wear out of a costume! I'd have loved for Alex to be able to wear his first Halloween costume more than once...he was adorable (if I do say so myself):

wild to think it seems like just yesterday most of us were running around Brent rd, or Gorman Crossing or wherever that nights party was, doing the Hilsborough hike bar crawl, drinking @ Pantana Bobs. And now we're all starting families. I'll post some of my lil boy in the next couple days

Wife's preggers. 15 weeks in.

It looks like I'm gonna wind up with two rugrats (twins run in her family).

The war's already started with whether to raise them as State or UNC fans, but their UNC Grad future-grandmother has already bought State gear, so I think I'm going to win this.

I guess they are fraternal twins, since monozygotic twins are not hereditary?

good luck on the UNC/NCSU battle, you are charged with doing everything in your power to win this. Do not feel like any tactic is too low. This is your child(ren)'s life you're talking about.

^^ Pulling numbers out of our asses yields a 99% chance they're fraternal.

Plus there's the two distinct placentas and the fact that Baby B seems to be tracking about 2 days behind Baby A developmentally.

I'm just worried that an NCSU/UNC battle between myself and the grandma will yield Duke fans. Which I guess is only the second worst result possible.

or in PartyChris's case, showing up completely unwanted to parties and getting DUIs before dropping out and generally failing at life.

going by people's inability to spell and form coherent sentences these days (even people with master's degrees), in a few generations humans will lose the ability to use language effectively. everybody will have a device strapped to their dome piece which will transform their thoughts into machine speech.

Tess turns 5 months tomorrow (18th). Due to HER insistence, we've started baby food. She would get so pushy when we ate in front of her and wants to taste EVERYTHING.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avjrCtie8Ik

She's also rolling and squirming all over. She wants to crawl but hasn't figured it out yet.

On a cute note, a couple of the older infant boys at daycare tried to grab at her while she sat in her car seat. She responded with a few swift kicks.... My girl, fighting off the boys already. :-P

^^She's so cute. It's fun to watch them develop a personality.

For instance, why does Riley get scared when I blow a raspberry at him, but laughs when Hunter does it? He gets all "DO NOT WANT" at the end.

I can tell you from experience that a line is a line no matter how faint it is. When I got pregnant with Silas, I tested before I even missed my period because we were trying. I went from no line one day to a very faint line the next day. Since I already had a multipack of pregnancy tests, I tested again a few days later and then again a few days after that. As the hormone levels went up, the positive line went from being barely there to a bright bright pink.
