It would be nice to have a "Favorite Users" feature to which I could add "bookmarks" to the user info of my "favorite" users. It would make it much easier to view user info for people whose info I frequently view. Right now I have to either find where they have posted in a thread and click "user info" or browse through the massive list of users (which sucks when, for example, the person you're looking for is at the bottom of page 7).

It would only benefit you at one location to bookmark it. Where if there was a section for it you could access it at any computer w/ internet access across the world.

Ooh, and it could be like on a LiveJournal friends list, where you can see who is friends with whom and all that shit; we could see who is everyone's favorite user, etc., and make this place an even bigger popularity contest.

It could be a home page module that related similarly to AIM's buddy list. You could have authenticated users at the top and unauthenticated users at the bottom of the module. This way the module could be positioned anywhere on the hompage you wanted, and possible be a substitue for the current user list. You would be able to access your friends and also see which ones are on (w/o looking through the masses everytime for your friends).

it might not change that often but you might reference the material. some people might not use tww for a message board as it's primary purpose. it is a great way to share pics with friends/family. You might also want to send a friend a message very quickly. or you could want to see what people have been yapping about on the boards.

even if this does happen, it would probably be a premium feature like all the other things I have not seen yet

the negatives of this being implemented as a module for users. not a lot, you wouldn't have to use it. it might detract cycles and space from the cpu and the db, but I am sure with all the caching and things that CrazyJ and Joe use, that it wouldn't be noticed... It might take some time to create and might not be used but it has a few more positives then negatives for the end user (imho).
