I'm very late, but I'm really enjoying Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

And I just saw they have Spotlight on there, and it is extra good.

Also, I haven't watched it yet, but there's no way Sing Street isn't awesome: "A boy growing up in Dublin during the 1980s escapes his strained family life by starting a band to impress the mysterious girl he likes."

Rubi

https://www.netflix.com/title/70205714

Full of Machiavellian scheming, jealousy, rage, really gorgeous women (do all Mexican actresses have the big boob gene and/or have implants???), great acting, though OTT a lot of the time.

Totally addicting.

Also loved the outfits, especially the women's. Wish young people would dress more like that, rather than the ubiquitous shorts and t-shirts.

And do Mexicans/Latinos really shout like that a lot of the time rather than talking it out calmly?

Turbo Kid

Don't spoil anything by looking it up, just watch it.

I don't recall there being too much of anything to spoil really, it's an attempt (albeit a pretty good one) to recreate a pretty specific genre of film from a specific time period that some people are a fan of and many probably are not.

You're probably right, but I feel like I got more out of it not knowing anything about it.

A few friends and I went into it blind and were highly entertained. I think it would have been more predictable if I had seen a trailer or read a review.

If you're desperate enough for new material to be looking here, I'm sure it will be a fine choice.

I'll second this from 2015. It was very very good. Definitely dark and suspenseful, but a great show imo

^There are 3 seasons now, not sure if they're all on Netflix yet though, and while the later seasons aren't quite as good as the first awesome season, I still enjoyed them, season 3 probably more than 2

Season 2 is on there. Haven't started it yet but I definitely will soon. I'm just curious where it goes from here. S1 was all about the investigation and mystery...S2 will likely be pretty different, read an episode description it sounds like it's about the trial.

The Good Place.

Created by Michael Schur, who helped make The Office, Parks and Rec, Brooklyn 99.

Starts slow but picks up. Only 10 episodes so you could knock it out in a week if you have an hour to kill per day. Highly recommend.

or on a lazy saturday afternoon. but yes it was definitely worth watching all in one go. idk if I would care enough to watch it one episode at a time.

little evil was pretty good too, if you like crappy horror flicks.

If you enjoyed and miss the show The Soup on E!, the Joel McHale show with Joel McHale is now on Netflix weekly, it’s the exact same show.

I can’t recommed it yet, but I’m probably going to watch Mute today, futuristic noir thriller, same director as Moon, which is one of my favorites.

Watched these two in the last couple of days:

Forgotten - Korean movie with subtitles. Damn! If you like movies that fuck with your mind, this is a MUST-WATCH!

Radius - I loved this too, and it really makes you think about a person's true nature. Actually, now that I think about it, there is definitely a connection between this and the movie above.
