I've been living in Aurora right on the border of Naperville for the past 20 months.

I am on the North Side in the Lincoln Square area. Seems like TWWers are few and far between up here unfortunately

I am thinking about renting a house in downtown Naperville with a buddy from work and one of his old high school classmates. I wish I lived in the city but don't want to reverse commute everyday when I have to be at work at the ass crack of dawn and can't ride an express train.

Yeah, I should probably hit that up. There aren't really any NCSU people at the Aurora Cat facility, but there are a couple down in Peoria who I every now and then see that come up to the plant.

^^ me too

Yes there is a Chicago Wolfpack Club up here, I haven't gone to any of the events, hopefully I will have time this summer. I missed the ACC bowling tournament they had last month, that would have been fun.

I spent the weekend in chicago. I had been there before, but never really went recreationally. Had a blast. I'd say Chicago is easily my favorite big city in the US.

love Chicago. wish I had done more when I was traveling up there for work every other week. nothing beats having the company put you up in the W Lakeshore.

that town is right up there with baltimore in the "man that city can drink" stakes

ive been a few times socially, but my most memorable trip involved visiting a friend of a friend with said friend for my 27th birthday and getting so drunk with them and a subset of their friends, that one of the girls in the group, who was admittedly probably only about 5'2 and 90 lbs, shit herself on the cab ride home from trying to keep up with us throughout the evening.

oh and they have good food too.

this upcoming trip will be ok. couple cubs games and a lot of drinking. nothing crazy. chicago in late summer is always fun though.

i tihnk my favorite thing about chicago is the BYOB restaurants. i walked in with a 12 pack, ate my weight in ribs and just hung out for 12 beers before starting the night off

I do love the summers here. Its been pretty hot and muggy this year, I think so far we have had 10 days where its been 90 degrees or warmer, which is fine by me!

I was there all last week for the first time and it was gorgeous! It has everything, even beaches. What's not to love? Oh yeah, winter.

Even the beaches are not to love, half the time they're closed due to the bacteria count in the water
