Just crawled out of my sink. O.M.F.G. I hate roaches..
damn thing was like 4 inches long, no lie.
How do I make sure I dont see any more of his kind around? We keep a very clean kitchen...never any dishes in the sink, food left out, etc. 1/4/2010 1:04:34 AM |

4 inches? Stop lying!
The largest species of cockroaches reach just 3 to 3.5 inches in length.
And I leave you with pics of the Madagascan Hissing Cockroach (one of the largest at 2-3 inches).

Two words: Boric Acid ...
But you do have to do a light dusting of it. They get it on themselves, bring it back to the nest, and the rest is history.

If it's a random big one than it's probably a good (well better) sign than if it were small (i.e. young/baby). The small ones should have you worried bc it means they are breeding in your house... hooray! 1/4/2010 8:56:19 AM |
