Following his funeral service, Spock's body was "buried" by being fired into space inside a torpedo casing. When Spock's coffin landed on the surface of the Genesis Planet, the radiation emanating from the planet caused his cells to regenerate. Meanwhile, Kirk and the rest of the Enterprise's senior staff disobeyed Starfleet orders so that they could retrieve Spock's body, and discovered that he had been reborn as a child (and was quickly aging to adulthood), but whose mind was a complete blank. On Vulcan, Spock's living body (now at the age it had been when he died) was reunited with his katra (the Vulcan soul), which Spock himself had placed in Dr. Leonard McCoy prior to his death.

Which would win?
Assume: S Captain Kirk type of command on each ship.

1 Two Enterprise class ships vs one Excelsior class ship
2 Klingon BOP vs a Romulan BOP
3 Five Enterprise ships vs one small Borg Cube (assume Borg command and not Kirk)

Reboot canon.

1. There isn't an enterprise class. Are you referring to the Constitution class Enterprise? The Excelsior in either case.

2. The Klingon, but only due to the crew.

3. You mean Borg commanding the 5 Enterprise ships? Probably them, then. Remember how Picard knew the exact weak spot of the Cube in First Contact. The Cube wouldn't be able to destroy them all before they hit that spot.

Jadzia

This applies to any group of obsessed fans. Twilight, Harry Potter, etc.

He knew he had to wait there to meet Kirk.

Quote :

Canonical explanation? An ancient race that existed hundreds of thousands of years ago saw their species dying. They decided to seed different worlds across the galaxy with DNA, causing life to form on them. Earth was one of them. Clues to this origin were scattered around the galaxy, and after different species raced to piece it together, they all discovered that it was a message letting them know of their ancient origins. See TNG Episode "The Chase."

Real explanation? Make-up is expensive.

Well, yes. A majority are. And obviously it's much easier to get an actor and slap something on their heads then create some 8 armed hydra in 3d Studio Max.

How does a heisenberg compensator work?

It sounds like you know all the answers to these already.

I can just c/p memory alpha for you:

The Heisenberg compensator (or subspace field compensator) is a component of the transporter system. The compensator works around the problems caused by the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle (hence the name), allowing the transporter sensors to compensate for their inability to determine both the position and momentum of the target particles to the same degree of accuracy. This ensures the matter stream remains coherent during transport, and no data is lost. A scan of the Heisenberg compensators, to make sure they perform within the specified parameters, can be performed by raising the transporter pad.

That's an alternate reality. I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you asking how old Spock was alive?

Quote :
"^^ How does it do that?"

Ask Brannon Braga.

Heaven.

Quote :

Captains tend not to like Q.

Quote :

No unless no one else steps up.

Quote :
"could Q microwave a burrito so hot even he could not hold it"

No, because he isn't corporeal. Things such as "heat" don't affect him.

Quote :

No.
