I've got a shitty iphone scanner app..it's pretty funny listening to feeds out of England and Australia though.

I like to listen to New York City, since there is always something going on

I put it on Alamance County once and went 45 minutes without hearing a peep.

Yeah the Queensland Aus Feed always has a ton of listeners



I almost never see the number drop below 50. Even at night.

apparently what it was earlier this morning was there was a home broken into near herbert akins elementary. that put the school on lockdown while the cops were looking for the suspects. dont see anything in the news about it yet

^K. Home Burglary has been big thing all over the area this last year due to economy.
One PD Sgt I talked to recently said they have been seeing a lot of unemployed people (not normally criminals) not having $ to buy Christmas gifts (or even the basic food/rent) and turning to burglary to try to get items to fence.
It is common crime anytime $$$ is hard to come by for a large part of the population.
