They seem to run about $50 vs. $130 for the US edition.

If you took the class, did you know anyone who used the Intl. Edition? Was it any different?

don't know anyone who used the international edition but i remember not even using the book that much. it was a waste of money.

don't know anything about the intl edition, but i do know we used that book every damn day. I don't know what kind of steel design class bluemoon took where they didn't use the manual that often. the book is far from a waste of money, 130 bucks is a lot cheaper than what it would cost after you graduate. I would suggest sucking it up and being safe with the US edition, its a good investment.

I thought he was talking about the text book.

You should def. buy the US edition. You'll use it for the project class and once you graduate.

I've bought 2 or 3 international additions of books before and noticed no difference between them and the US edition.

However:
1. This wasn't one of them
2. This can't always be constant
